GTH Looking Forward to Continued Growth

Monday, June 25, 2012 - Regina, Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan is growing and so is the Global Transportation Hub (GTH). Over the last few months, we’ve seen the opening of another 500,000 sq. ft. and the addition of about 400 jobs at the Loblaw warehouse and distribution centre, which is operated by Canadian Logistics Services.  The GTH also welcomed Consolidated Fastfrate (CFF) as a new client in April.

Chris Dekker, recently appointed as interim President and CEO of the GTH is looking forward to harnessing the strength of the Saskatchewan economy for continued growth at the Hub.

Dekker comes to the GTH from his role as CEO of Enterprise Saskatchewan, the agency responsible for provincial economic development.  Prior to joining Enterprise Saskatchewan, Dekker was Manager of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs and Special Projects for the City of Saskatoon. His duties included project manager for the popular River Landing redevelopment initiative.

Chris holds an Honors Degree in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and he is an accredited public relations practitioner.
