Leadership Changes at the Global Transportation Hub

The Board of Directors of the Global Transportation Hub (GTH) is excited to announce Daniel Hersche as their next President and CEO. Daniel comes to the GTH from the Provincial Government having worked in a variety of accounting and strategic roles across several Ministries and Crown Corporations including assisting the GTH in its transition to its current private sector management model.

Daniel will be spending half of his time leading the GTH with a focus on sound governance, financial management and developing new opportunities for business to locate at the hub. The other half of Daniel’s time will be spent working for the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement.

Matt Schroeder, the current President and CEO of The Global Transportation Hub is embarking on a new career opportunity in the private sector. 

Matt led the GTH’s restructuring and transition from public sector to private sector management in 2019 resulting in the hiring of Colliers in Regina. These changes reduced operating costs at the GTH by millions of dollars each year and put in place building blocks for future success. The Board of Directors thanks Matt for his contributions to the GTH over the past seven years.
