Moving forward: Colliers to manage, operate and market The GTH

Wednesday, September 18, 2019 - Regina, Saskatchewan

Colliers International logo REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN - Saskatchewan’s Global Transportation Hub (GTH) has contracted Colliers International as the facility’s new management services provider following a rigorous selection process that drew strong interest from proponents across Canada.

Effective October 1, 2019, Colliers International will manage, operate and market the GTH under the direction and authority of a Board of Directors that will continue to oversee land sales, financial performance and regulatory activities. The composition of the Board and future governance structure are currently being finalized.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) was distributed through the Government of Saskatchewan’s tendering system in March 2019. Colliers International was the highest ranked proponent from a short list of qualified companies, following a process where over 50 vendors downloaded the RFP with nine participating in onsite briefings and five submitting comprehensive proposals.

Myers Norris Penny (MNP) was contracted as a Fairness Advisor to assist the GTH selection committee through the competitive bid process. The seven-member committee was comprised of four directors from the GTH board and one representative from SaskBuilds, Crown Investments Corporation (CIC) and Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Finance.
